Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

Only what you send us through the contact form: your name, email, phone number (if you give one) and your message. To protect the form from spam, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser and IP address when you submit it.

This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (b)). Spam protection relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and spam protection (Turnstile).
• Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivering your message by email.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards the GDPR provides for (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses). We never sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case the legal retention periods for business records apply.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@modernpearl.pt. You also have the right to complain to Portugal's data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
